We went out in Salzburg our first night and had an absolute blast bar hopping along the river, and we met some great people. Then the next morning we woke up in time to have a phenomenal breakfast in our hotel (my first scrambled eggs since America!!), pack up, and check out before Niko came to met us. He picked us up and we drove for about 45 minutes to the lakes on the outside of Salzburg. We drove past gorgeous country side, more castles than I can count, and the lakes where the Sound of Music was filmed, before stopping at St. Gilgen’s to get out and have some coffee, sit by the water, take pictures, and walk around. Even though it was cloudy, the lakes were stunning. Probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. I think so far Salzburg has been my favorite place for it’s physical beauty! After the lakes we hopped back in the car, grabbed some lunch and Niko took us to the train station to head for Prague!
