The next day we attempted an early start, but were foiled until noon when we went to a small café overlooking Church Strossmayeroyo nàm We had a great breakfast and walked along the river to a park overlooking the entire city of Prague. Then, we walked to the Charles Bridge and passed Prague Castel on our way to the Old Town Square. It was on the bridge that we met a friend named Dave, who is 6’ 10” and was wonderful. It was like having a personal bodyguard around everywhere we went! (He works in China and is a body guard for American celebrities when they travel there and I have never felt so safe). The four of us spent the afternoon strolling through Old and New Town Prague, watching street performers, and tasting all kinds of Czech goodies like fresh sweet rolls and Absinthe slushies! Then we grabbed dinner, played cards in the hostel with some other travellers and we all went out together to the biggest music club in Europe, Karlovy Lázne, which has five stories of different music themes. We had the time of our lives and even got to dance on a glass platform over top of one of the dance floors!! Don’t worry though, we were all wearing jeans ;)
